Nepali identity is multifaceted, and it is portrayed in many forms and facets. Although Nepal is one of the smallest countries in terms of geography and population density, people of different castes or ethnic backgrounds and cultures live together. They wear different varieties of dresses with unique artistic symbols in them portraying their own identities. However, Nepal’s emerging fashion differs significantly from the traditional ethnic dresses people wore. Our products blend the ethnic costumes and contemporary elite fashion in one to give fashion lovers a new taste.

People from different ethnic communities in Nepal make their dresses by themselves traditionally; weaving, knitting, and stitching are done by their own hands. This inspired us to create a new style of fashion, so we followed them. As the process of producing a handmade garment is time-consuming, the apparels are produced in a small volume, but in best quality. Women from different societies and backgrounds work and utilize their local skills to fine-tune our products. Here they do heavy handworks which are unique and meaningful and can be seen too. A product passes through several stages; for example, after stitching and embroidery, pieces are sent for stonewash. Our area of expertise ranges from simple stonewash to rough garments and perfection in the fabrics. Stonewash shows the earthy looks and colors and its presence in it. This process helps to make a colorfast textile and shows the new amazing charm in the pieces. Thus the product looks beautiful and colorful.

We have researched and designed our costumes with care and affection so that our customers can get the best out of it. The difference between us and other garments is that we produce goods in a traditional manner but others in commercial manner i.e. they produce goods mostly by machines in a huge volume. But we have researched and produced the designs which accumulate the diversity in the culture. We work to bring a change through fashion, women’s accessibility to economic empowerment, and promotion of local skills and products. Our style of garment production helps local people to utilize their skills on the one hand, while on the other, customers who use our products will know about Nepali culture and its important aspects.

Our apparel is typical because it is handcrafted based on ethnic and cultural values of the Himalayan country, Nepal. Our products are made by local community people using local resources. Moreover, we naturalize the color of the fabric by stonewashing, and also adding artistic symbols that reflect the local values. We study the market and create new designs on regular basis.
